Version 1.6 introduces a major rewrite of the material engine, bringing more consistent behavior across tools and significantly improving reliability in complex models.
New: Materializer
Create structured material placeholders directly from your model's Outliner structure.
Materializer builds material libraries automatically from components and groups, making it easier to organize large scenes and prepare models for rendering pipelines.
New: Replace Materials Modes
Replace Materials now includes two workflows:
Simple Mode
Fast one-to-one material replacement across the entire model.
Batch Mode
Multi-row mapping for replacing many materials in a single operation.
New: Single Window Mode (Drawers)
Material Library, Replace Materials, and Texture Transform can now run inside one main window using drawer panels.
This keeps workflows faster and reduces window clutter while working.
Unified Rule-Based Material System
All tools now follow the same internal material rules.
Selection defines scope, structure is respected, and operations produce more predictable results across nested components and complex models.
